Life after college is tough. Just when we thought that we have already passed that certain point of life when we don’t have to work on our assignments and projects but then this job search comes. Working hard doesn’t end there, it’s even more important to exert more effort to live life after graduation.
Fresh graduates may find their initial interviews very tough since they don’t have any idea what might happen during that time and they don’t have experiences yet. If you are among those fresh graduates out there who are scheduled for an upcoming interview, here are the tips to win the heart of a potential employer.
Prepare your resume. Study it and expect questions that might be asked to you during the interview, particularly, ST interview.
Remember events in your college days that you have had exerted leadership skills. Just look back and justify your answer.
Look for common interview questions you can find on the internet. Answer them on your own and then let your friends or parents evaluate it for you. If they have suggestions, feel free to embrace them.
Be on time. You need to know more about the exact location of the company to avoid tardiness. Being late on the interview is not a great thing to do.
Dress properly. You need to look professional to be treated professionally. The suit must be formal and has a solid color – black, brown, or navy blue.
Be confident. Confidence will be the key that will open up doors on the career path you have chosen.
