Responsible Service of Alcohol Qld Training Program Goes Online
The QLD Liquor Licensing Division, with the aim to improve the tourism and hospitality sector, has now opened the doors for individuals and companies working in the hospitality sector, to take the mandatory Responsible Service of Alcohol Qld program online. The course is designed to give staff members of establishments, which serve liquor, to be aware of laws and regulations that govern the serving of alcohol. This includes liquor serving staff and security personnel working at the front lines of the hospitality industry.
The program is all about responsible service and consumption of alcohol in different settings and establishments. It also involves training that aims to provide knowledge and skills used in the protection and possible violations of current laws under the Liquor Act. Topics include serving liquor to minors and handling intoxicated and disorderly customers.
The move to make this course available online has received praises among experts and professionals working in the hospitality industry. Responsible service of alcohol has been an important issue in the past few years, and the hospitality sector is preparing for growth as more and more foreign students arrive in Australia to study. Participants will receive a certificate from the QLD Liquor Licensing Division after completion of the course.
